Accounts

  • I forgot my password. How can I reset it?

    Please visit our Password Reset page to request a password reset. An email with a temporary password will be emailed to you. Follow the instructions in the email to reset your password.

  • I forgot my login username. How can I found out what it is?

    Your login username is your email address.

  • How do I end my membership with a club or business?

    You may resign from a club or business at any time. To resign, click on your profile icon in the header and then click your name. At the bottom of the page will be a link to resign from the club or business that you are currently viewing. Once you resign, only the club administrator or manager can re-activate your account.

Club Management

  • Who can see and manage private Club information?

    Only members of a Club can see the Club's information. Each Club has its own dedicated home page which is private from the public. Membership is managed by the Club Administrators who have the authority to send invites or accept requests for membership.

  • Is there a limit to how many members I can have?

    You can have up to 10 members if your club is using our Basic Plan. If your club subscribes to our PRO or Business plan, there is no limit to the number of members that your club can have.

  • How do I stop receiving emails from my club?

    You can unsubscribe from your Club's email notifications by visiting your Club's home page, selecting Member Profile from the menu, then updating your notification options.

  • How much does the Business Plan cost?

  • How do I subscribe to the PRO plan?

    Login and visit your Club's dashboard. You will see a red button that says 'Go PRO'. Clicking the button will take you to a page where you can submit payment information for your PRO order.

  • How long does my Business subscription last?

    Our Business Plan is a monthly subscription that will automatically renew until you cancel.

  • Who can subscribe a club to the Business plan?

    Only a staff member with the manager role can subscribe your club to the Business plan.

  • Our manager left the company. How do we manage our Business Plan?

    Please Contact Us and we'll work on transferring your plan to a new manager.

  • Can we convert our Business Plan to a PRO Plan?

    Unfortunately, we cannot convert a business plan to a PRO or Basic plan. The two plan types are incompatible.

  • I have more than one club? Does a PRO subscription apply to all of them?

    Each club requires it's own PRO subscription.

  • Who can subscribe a club to the PRO plan?

    Only a club administrator can subscribe your club to the PRO plan.

  • Can we convert our PRO Plan to a Business Plan?

    Unfortunately, we cannot convert a PRO or Basic plan to a Business plan. The two plan types are incompatible.

Billing and Payments

  • Do you collect, store, or transmit my payment data?

    Beer Club Hub does not collect, store, or transmit any of your payment data. We partner with Stripe.com to process your payment. They are a global leader in payment processing used by millions of companies and are fully PCI DSS compliant.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    Our payment processing service accepts all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

  • I checked out, but I don't see the plan features.

    It can take up to 15 minutes after you checkout for your payment to be processed. If your plan features are not enabled after this time, there may have been an issue processing your payment. Please Contact Us immediately and we will look into it.

  • I don't want to subscribe any more. Can I receive a pro-rated refund?

    Unfortunately, we are not able to perform pro-rated refunds at this time, but we would love your feedback on how we improve our services to make it more valuable for you. Please Contact Us.

  • Why was my payment declined?

    We partner with Stripe.com to process your payment. We are not notified of declined transactions, but we can try to assist in any way possible. Please Contact Us.

Contests, Tastings, and Results

  • I can't enter beer scores. It says the tasting is closed.

    When a tasting is created, the Contest Administrator chooses a start and end time for the session. A Contest Administrator can open and close a tasting at any time. They might close a session to prevent late score updates or to reveal beer names in a blind scoring session. Beer Club Hub also tries to help out by automatically closing a scoring session 12 hours after the session end time. A Contest Administrator can always open a scoring session back up.

  • My tasting closed by itself.

    Beer Club Hub also tries to help out by automatically closing a tasting 12 hours after the session end time. A Contest Administrator can always open a tasting back up.

  • I can't see my beer names when I go to score them. All I see are beer numbers.

    This means the tasting has been setup as a blind tasting. Only the Contest Administrator can see the beer names and brewers. All other members vote "blind" (by number) instead of by beer name and brewer. This option can be changed by editing a tasting. The beer information will be revealed when the scoring session closes.

  • I score my beers out of 5 points, but my beer scores show as a percent out of 100.

    Beer Club Hub continuously recalculates the overall score for a beer and new scores are submitted. All scores are then displayed as a percentage. Alot of math going on here, but this is done in case you want to change the maximum score on each of your tastings. Max scores may change, but percentages will always stay the same.... so your beers will always be compared on a level playing field.

  • What mobile devices does Beer Club Hub work with?

    Our website will work with any modern mobile device that has a web browser and an internet/data connection. It does not require any software to download.

  • Do I have to enter scores within the start and stop times I set in my tasting?

    No. Beer Club Hub does not prevent scores from being submitted outside of the tasting session times. These times are simply informational for your members.
